Virtuwool is an online game where you can own, breed, show, buy and sell virtual sheep. You might have heard of virtual pet games, but I'll bet you haven't heard of a virtual sheep game!
Here at Virtuwool you can own dozens of your own sheep. There are hundreds of possible color/pattern combinations, and THOUSANDS of possible sheep color combinations, so perhaps you could specialise in a certain color, or maybe your sheep could be known for their high-quality wool, or their showing abilities. All sheep have pictures which show their colors, so you can show your sheep to your friends, and see who can get the funniest, cutest and most unusual color combinations.
Virtuwool now has a sophisticated genetics system, where sheep inherit colors and patterns from their parents. You can enjoy the challange of figuring out your sheep's genes, or you can sit back and just enjoy whatever color appears.
There's also a new ranking system, where the best sheep and players are displayed for all to see. Climb up the ladder and try to steal the number one place!
You can grow different feeds for your sheep, from oats to lucerne, to give them special bonuses, extra health and better chances of winning a show. You can buy special items at the Market to give your sheep better quality wool and more weight. You can even milk your sheep!
The game is free to play for an unlimited amount of time. There are no limits on free game play. This means no limits on breeding, showing, buying or selling. However, if you want, you can pay a tiny amount for special bonuses to make your sheep different from the rest; special colors, top-quality wool, special items, patterns and more!
Your sheep depend on you for their feed and needs, but if your time is limited you can take care of your sheep with just a few clicks a day.
